We pray together

Lord of Light,
On this Candlemas day,
we remember how Your Son was brought to the Temple,
a humble Child carried in faithful arms,
yet the true Light who carries the world.

Teach us to recognise Your presence
in what seems small, quiet, or unfinished.
Dispel the shadows that linger in our hearts.
Brighten the paths we hesitate to walk.
Let Your light be our courage,
Your peace our steady flame.
