Governors and Directors

We are always seeking candidates interested in becoming a governor or director at a Church of England school or academy trust.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a board that provides leadership and oversees the performance of the school or trust. We particularly need you to uphold and protect the Christian distinctiveness of our schools.

You do not need prior experience of governance, though this is always welcome – full support and training will be provided. In fact, school governance is a fantastic way to broaden your skills by gaining board-level experience and allowing you to develop your critical thinking. All you need is the time and willingness to get involved and to contribute to the school or trust community.
